On the line is an interactive sculptural work comprised of a table and 4 rotary telephones. The phones will ring independently and playback facts about Mental Health in the Japan, poems and short stories of individuals who have personally be impacted by a mental illness and definitions of various types of mental illnesses delivered by a mental health expert or counselor.
The Audience will be left with other resources for more information on mental health awareness and a commemorative t-shirt and refrigerator magnet will be available to purchase in the popup space.

On The Line Interactive Installation

The environment of the activation is designed to be a safe space for discussion around mental health awarness. Audience members spoke among themselves and shared their stories about their own challenges with mental health among other things like coping with loosing a loved one to suicide. The physical take away was a list of resources for more information on mental health awareness.
